Ball Shades |
| The traditional ball shade is
probably the most common of all the antique shades it was used on fancy banquet lamps, on
end tables in the parlor and in the bed rooms. A unique feature of these shades is
the size of the base. Whether you had / have a 6 inch diameter ball shade or a 12
inch one the base measured the same. The 4 inch base and fitter has been the
standard for over one hundred and fifty years. This feature allowed ladies of
the era to redecorate any time by just moving shades from room to room. A few
of our ball shades are here for your inspection. And as with everything else
we can be custom painted to serve your needs |

Even though we don't keep all of them in inventory we can get many hard to find shades and
shapes. There are a few 6 and 8 inch shades available as well as a few smaller
